Meet the Managers

Introducing Maggie and Kate, manager and manager-in-training at On The Grind 306. Check out the interview to get insights into how On the Grind works and how much fun we really have in that little box.

How drinks are made:

Coffee

The first step to making a coffee at On The Grind is pulling a shot. Baristas press the coffee grinds to ensure the water flows over them evenly to pull the perfect shot of espresso. They then add flavoring to the espresso shot and pass it on to the milk station.

If a drink is hot, the barista at the milk station will steam the milk to heat it up. If it's iced, they'll prepare an ice cup. They pour the drink into the cup, add any requested toppings, slap a lid on, and the coffee is ready for the customer to enjoy.

Red Bull

At On The Grind, we don't just make coffee. We also make flavored Red Bulls that can be prepared iced or blended. It begins with pouring the Red Bull into the measuring cup or a blender. The barista then adds the desired flavor, and either blends it with ice or pours the drink over ice. They'd then add any requested toppings, put a lid on top, and hand it to the customer.
